 SG Suryah had accused Madurai MP Su Venkatesan of not taking adequate action following the death of a hygiene worker after he was made to clean a drain. Bharatiya Janata Party's Tamil Nadu secretary SG Suryah was arrested by the Madurai district’s cyber crime police on Friday night in connection with his recent tweet against MP Su Venkatesan, drawing criticism from Union minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar and state president K Annamalai. In the tweet, Suryah had accused Venkatesan of not taking adequate action following the death of a hygiene worker after he was made to clean a drain filled with faeces. In a letter to Venkatesan, Suryah had strongly criticised the incident. “Your fake politics of separatism stinks worse than that cesspool, find a way to live as a human being, mate!” tweeted Suryah.  The Delhi University said there will be a total of 360 seats for the three BTech courses. The registr ation process for three new Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) courses that Delhi University is introducing this academic year is likely to begin in the end of June, officials from the university said on Thursday. According to the officials, the eligibility criteria for admission to these courses will be different from other undergraduate (UG) courses being offered by the university. The registration portal for the other courses opened on Wednesday. The three B.Tech courses will have 360 seats — 120 each for the computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, and electrical engineering courses. Officials said that for admission to these courses, the university will consider the candidate’s Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 score, as opposed to the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for other programmes at DU. “Candidates must have passed C

Pushparani found Mr. Das guilty and sentenced him to undergo three years of Rigorous Imprisonment under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code and slapped a fine of ₹10,000.
